Is the system easy to use?
Security systems have come a long way.  If you can dial a touch-tone
telephone you can operate a security system.  You will only need a
4-digit code to turn the system on and off.  Most children can quickly learn
to use the system.

What is Cellular Backup?
Cellular Backup is a long range cellular radio that is installed in your
alarm control panel.  It sends signals wirelessly to the monitoring station
if a phone line has been cut or can be used to transmit signals to the
monitoring station if a home does not have traditional phone service.
Cellular Backup insures the safest connection to the monitoring station
currently available.

I sold my house what should I do?
Similar to any other utility company, we need an adequate amount of
time to process your request.  Please notify us at least one week prior to
your closing date.  We may need to stop by to disconnect the system.

I forgot my password, now what?
If you have forgotten your password you will need to come to our office
with ID and some type of documentation (current utility bill in your name)
for verification before we can tell you your password or make any
changes to your account.

What happens if the power goes off to my home?
Your alarm system is equipped with a battery backup, so your protection
will not be interrupted after a power failure.

How often should I test my system?
We recommend that you test your system monthly.  Please call the
Central Station at 716-675-2760 or 800-225-3753 to let them know that
you are going to test.

What happens when I trip my alarm?
When an alarm occurs in your home, it is sent over your telephone to our Central
Station.  At the Central Station our highly trained monitors will provide the proper
response to your alarm.  If a fire alarm comes in the local fire department will be
notified.  If a burglar alarm comes in the police will be notified.  If a sump pump
alarm comes in we will notify the person of your choice be it a neighbor, relative
or plumber.
